Three major TEN-T corridors crossing Hungary maybe developed as part of the new Trans-European transport network. The development aims to construct filling stations for LNG fuelled lorries and coaches which are already available in the Western and Northern European regions. It is essential to connect Hungary in the LNG network, since there are already fifteen European member states where lorries run with this fuel. Transport with liquefied natural gas offers the same benefits for Central European countries as for the member states already having their LNG network.
